this is a script that i made for the project we did: Artist: Wassily Kandisnky
Wassily Kandinsky : Script (I say everything)
(Sit down with head facing the ground and humming the tune of that songJ)
M: What? What? What do you want?”
M:“Don’t bother me when I am doing my work!”
Sit up, pointing my painting toward the sky
M:“its doneI, wassily kandinsky russian painter, shall be known through history
Point it towards the audience
M:“isn’t it beautiful? Cant youf see the essence of spirituality and other stuff in this work of art? Huh?”
Snicker towards them.
“Well of coarse you can’t!d ha! Because you were not a child born prodigy artist like me”
“Not only that but did you turn up studieng on artwork for more then 40 years?.........No!”
Stare at the painting once more with sigh
“it is wonderful eh?”
“You know, I have a saying: Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the
harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul.
“My work was greatly influenced with music, maybe that’s why my saying is strange
Ah I used to be so involved with the spiritual essence in art that most of the paintings you will see shall be the result of my this”
“Let me tell you a bit of my past first, because judging by the expression on your face you seem to be quite baffled”
“Okay, so, it was from my childhod that I grew up into what I am right now”
“When I was born in 1866 and was raised through the wonderful world of music. I learned to play the piano and the cello at a very young age! Younger then you people in fact, making me a Childs prodigy as you people call it”
“After living a few ears in my birth city of moscow (Also from where I come from) I moved to odessa”
“After studying in my miger school where I barely learned anything, I finally enrolled in the University of Moscow.”
“There, I started my studies on-not art if that’s what your thinking”(Look eyes narrowed at the audience) “On Law and economics”
“And, of coarse, being the prodigy/smarty that I am, I do have to say that I was very good at it J……But of course I became “too” good at what I was doing and so was offered a job to become the professor of the academy.”
“I declined the offer, Hint: don’t ask me why? Anyway, in 1896, I travelled back to Russia, to a small city over there called Munich.”
“Over here, in Russia, the place I love, art came back to me! I started my studies here in Munich! I started to draw real-life sketches, anatomy and even paintings with watercolor.”
“I then tried out for an art college in Munich but sadly they didn’t allow me in first, stupid little stupids! Anyhow, I knew I didn’t need no stupid school! So I started to paint on my on, the paintings that I had just mentioned to you!”
“So then, one day, I went to an exhibition, it was truly spectacular! I was especially taken away by a special painting done by Monet…..er……….. I believe it was called the haystacks. It had a powerful sense of color and emotion to me. It was a picture! What a picture! ”
“ However, this was prior to the greatest event in my life. The World War 1! Yes I know you have heard the stories about the people who have been there and the journals from whose those we were able to find but it was WW1 that had shut down my art school that I had established in 1900 to the kids who wanted to learn art. I was so sad!”
“Anyhow, the picture that monet had drawn really spoke to me,…got to the in depth of art and how music and the watercolors with the newly gained essence of Monet made my artwork got beautiful!
”Realizing the in depth in art, my paintings turned extraordinary, music worked its way into the system and powerful colors I played with for my pieces”
“In 19……er something, I think 9 I published a paper called the “Spiritual in art” I had written about how the music and the essence of emotions/colors broke down work for me. I had started to break down paintings with my new understanding of the artistic world, broke the paintings down into geometric designs and flooded them with colors that you people don’t even know the name of! You can actually here the music lingering in the painting after it’s done!”
This art then came to be known throughout Russia with my new version of art, this art I called non-objective abstract art! A completely new kind of artwork on its own! From then on people had referred to as me, wassily Kandinsky, as the father of abstract!”
“By the way I died in 1944, just so you know:)”

My face in Paul Klee form
In this piece of art I drew my face onto a piece of paper and then started to draw curvy/lines that divided my face up into small little shapes. I colored the shapes that made up my face in warm colors and the background in sober or should I say cooler colors such as green, blue and purple. The shoulders i colored to match a bit with my face so that it was not out of place.
A skill i enhanced while doing this piece of art would be mixing colors with oil pastals better(like the one below) and use the colors to create a bright affect that looks very nice. While starting this piece, however, a problem that i had run into was how i should have to divide my face in the drawing up into miniature shapes with the lines?(but I however managed to solve this at the end).
Anyway, the elements that were used in this picture as you could tell by just looking at it would be lines shapes and color. these were very important elements as to make this piece(Obviously).
The skills i used in this piece of work could be used as a job in being a designer or a architect or even the whole idea of being an artist in general. Color is very important. I am very satisfied with this piece of work and learned again a lot of skills while drawing this. Like learning about lines and shapes, both used to make this piece of artwork.
An artist that has completed an art piece such as this one would be paul klee

Another piece of artwork.
This is another piece of my artwork drawn or made from oil pastal. While working on this project I had many feelings such as curious on what else i couldl make out of oil pastals and other pieces of artwork such as this one. Some problems i had while doing this piece would be the fact on how to design this from the beginning and apply the mixing of the oil pastals together. Above all I did not even know at that time on how to even use oil pastals. In some occasions i may encounter these problems again in maybe an art exibition or the knowledge of the different colors.
This piece of work has improved my observation in many ways. One being the fact that now I can see the focal point in many pieces of artwork and the hot and warm colors which make any painting stand out. I think I had already known about this observation a bit already because realizing the or differintiating the difference between hot and cool colors was pretty basic.
In this piece I used the element of lines and shapes, creating boarders so that the contrast of the colors would really stand out. I am very satasfied with my piece of art.
A profession in which this skill that I am doing right now would be good in being an artist or a archetect or a designer etc.

My artwork: emotians and colors.
This is my artwork of an emotion. The emotion I have chosen was 'guilt'. I created this piece of art from ordinary paint and blended them together using a slight touch of water. the made sure to use contrast colors in the making of this piece so that it really sticks out. I used curves and and light brush strokes for some of the lighter color, carefull not to overdo the darker colors. This contrast of colors, red/orange and blue/white creates a strong feeling of guilt to me.
I learned and enhanced on many skills while doing this piece. I managed to learn about the importance of color and how to apply it into emotions. Using the brush to make different sort of things. How color has many different forms and mixing colors to attain even newer colors (infact colors i have never need to work on).
The strongest feeling i had while doing this project was guilt, as I said before. A few problems for me at the beginning was probably the whole aspect of color. The part about how to mix the colors and how to use the colors to make an emotion of my choice.
Nowedays, after this painting that is, I am starting to realize the importance of colors, shapes and lines. I am able to see deeper into artwork. I used in this peice of art the elements of line, color, shape and form. I used all of them. I am pretty satesfied with my artowork and was happy of the fact that the red and orange colors against the blue colors created the image to me as an artwork representing 'guilt'
An artist that has created a work much like mine would be Kandinsky
this is a piece of artwork done by him

The skills needed to do this project would be the ability to percieve color and shapes. Also I think i shall use this skill in the future of artwork.
